Charlotte - Creative Director
Charlotte is an experienced Costume Designer, Wardrobe Manager and Armour Technician and leads the stable of artists and designers at the CKFilmdesign workshop. She holds a reputation for both designing and constructing striking and original character based costumes with beautiful attention to detail and craftsmanship.
In 2016 she was a finalist in the prestigious Weta Workshop Costume & Film section at the World of Wearable Arts and later that year was appointed as a New Zealand Ambassador for Worbla thermoplastics.
Charlotte was recently invited by respected tertiary institution Toi Whakaari - The New Zealand School of Drama - as guest tutor to teach their Worbla and Armour building unit to its final year students in both late 2017 and 2018.
She continues to teach Costume and Armour construction through CKFilmdesign's community outreach programme - CKFilm Sunday School.
Charlotte is the current industry representative for Costume Design on The New Zealand Film Collective Round Table.
Matt is the Commercial Manager at CKFilmdesign, responsible for overseeing the day to day commercial operations of the business.
Coming from a corporate legal background, Matt also has experience in writing and film production.
This means he can provide a range of skills to customers, including project management, contract drafting and negotiation, developing internal and external stakeholder relationships, and risk and compliance management.
